Problem 2
The tube motor does not stop or get at the set end position.
Observation 2
The end positions are erased or set again.
Cause 1
Moist conditions caused a short circuit.
Solution 1
Repair the electrical connections. Set the end positions again.
Cause 2
Induction caused an interference with the electronics.
Solution 2
Prevent problems with induction. Refer to §5.2.
•
Are the cables not too long?
•
Do external sources not cause problems?
•
Is there a separation of cables for each tube-motor connection?
Cause 3
The decreased braking function of the tube motor caused the end of the lifespan.
Solution 3
Replace the tube motor. Set the end positions.
Do a check of the conditions and starting points in §5.2.
•
Is there no undervoltage less than 190 V?
•
Are problems with induction prevented?
•
Is the load less than the maximum switch-contact load for the switch installation
(relay controls, switches and such)?
Do a check of the conditions and starting points in § 6.1.
Is the duty cycle correct?
Problem 3
The second end position is not set after the programming button is pushed.
Observation 3
The tube motor does not give a “click”.
Cause 1
End positions that are set again and again caused an interference with the
electronics.
Solution 1.1
Release the programming button (refer to step 5 of the procedure) and push it
again for a minimum of 3 seconds. Usually this will set the second end position
correctly.
Solution 1.2
De-energize the tube motor. Wait for two minutes. Use the adjusting switch to
erase the two set end positions. Set the end positions again.
Cause 2
Possibly the electronics are defective.
Solution 2
Contact your supplier or the manufacturer.
