9.1 Troubleshooting
This section describes possible problems and their solutions. If a problem is not in the list that
follows, contact your supplier or the manufacturer.
Problem 1
The tube motor does not turn.
Observation 1
The tube motor does not turn when the adjusting switch or control box is used.
Cause 1
The mains voltage is not connected.
Solution 1
Connect the mains voltage.
Cause 2
There is a problem with the connections.
Solution 2
The installer must do a check of the connections and cables and repair incorrect
connections or broken wires.
Cause 3
The tube motor is thermally stopped.
Solution 3
Wait some time. Let the tube motor temperature decrease.
Cause 4
The mains voltage is not correct.
Solution 4
Refer to the identification information on the tube motor for the correct mains
voltage. If the mains voltage does not agree, contact your supplier.
Cause 5
The decreased capacity of the capacitors caused the end of the lifespan.
Solution 5
Replace the tube motor. Set the end positions.
Do a check of the conditions and starting points in §5.2.

Is there no undervoltage less than 190 V?

Are problems with induction prevented?
•
Is the load less than the maximum switch-contact load for the switch installation
(relay controls, switches and such)?
Do a check of the conditions and starting points in § 6.1.

Is the duty cycle correct?
Cause 6
1 thru 5 do not give a solution to the problem. The cause is unknown.
Solution 6
Contact your supplier or the manufacturer.
