4.2 Installation - Conditions and starting points
Ridder components
• The starting point is that only Ridder components are used.
Roller-screen system
• The starting point is a side-wall roller-screen in a greenhouse. The roller screen is installed on
a side wall between the purlins. For different installations, systems, greenhouses and building
structures this product manual does not give full information.
Standard installation (tube motor 550032/550039)
• The starting point is the standard installation of a tube motor 550032 or 550039.
For different installations refer to “ALTERNATIVES”.
• The guiding unit (550500) is for the standard VK10 journal.
• The tube of the 550039 tube motor has an extension of 74 mm. This makes the RB50Eᵖˡᵘˢ tube
motor interchangeable with the RB50 tube motor.
Installation side of the roller screen
• The installation is possible on the two sides of the roller screen (20).
If installation on the other side of the roller screen (20) is necessary:
• Turn the assembly 180° around the longitudinal axis of the post (B).
Note: In §4.3 thru §4.7 each time the same installation side is shown.

Put the cable-carrier bracket (8) and tube motor (1) in the correct
position for the related installation side of the roller screen.
REFER TO §4.4/4.5. This prevents more subsequent work.
