avoid an accident with oncoming traffic.

To help avoid risk of injury or death through
unintended operation of the vehicle and/or its
systems, do not leave children, people who re-
quire the assistance of others, or pets unat-
tended in your vehicle. Additionally, the tem-
perature inside a closed vehicle on a warm day
can quickly become high enough to cause a
significant risk of injury or death to people and
pets.
LOCKING WITH KEY
To lock the door, insert the mechanical key to the
door key cylinder and turn the key to the front side
of the vehicle

To unlock the door, turn the key to the rear of the
vehicle

OPENING WITH INSIDE DOOR
HANDLE
To unlock and open the door pull the inside door
handle as illustrated.
For models with Super Lock System:
The doors cannot be opened by using the inside
door handle when the Super Lock System is acti-
vated.
LOCKING WITH POWER DOOR LOCK
SWITCH
Operating the power door lock switch (located on
the driver’s door) will lock or unlock all the doors.
To lock the doors, push the power door lock switch
to the lock position

with the driver’s door open,
then close the door. All doors will lock.
