2.7.2 Wiring the Terminal Strip

The terminal strip on the Regulator board provides terminals for connecting customer I/O devices.

See figures 2.8, 2.9, and 2.12. The following terminals are provided:

Terminals 13: RS232 connections

Terminals 49: pulse tachometer connections

Terminals 1011: analog output connections

Terminals 1215: analog speed/torque reference connections

Terminals 1625: 24V DC digital input connections (160 HP Regulator boards only)

Terminals 2627: snubber resistor braking control connections (160 HP Regulator boards only)

Terminals 2831: status relay connections

WIRES BETWEEN TERMINALS 16+16A AND

20 + 20A ARE NECESSARY FOR PROPER

OPERATION OF THE FUNCTION LOSS

INPUT. THEY SHOULD NOT BE REMOVED.
