Setting Rear Axle Camber:
Set camber more negatively:
Turn both ball-head screws (A) and (B) clockwise.
Set camber more positively:
Turn both ball-head screws (A) and (B) counter-clockwise.
To ensure a sufficient adjustment path, first loosen the ball-head
screws (A) and (B) a little with the small hexagon wrench (see
figures when setting the wheel camber at the front axis on the
previous pages). Then remove the small plastic clips (5) bet-
ween the ball-head screw and the crossbeam with a pointed tool
(e.g. a small screw driver or paper clip).
The small hexagon hole of the ball-head screws (A) and (B) is
only visible when looking right through the large hexagon hole of
the metal grub screws (C).
The metal grub screws (C) serve to fasten the ball-head screws
(A) and (B) in the axis spur. Never tighten the grub screws (C)
forcefully. Otherwise, the wheel suspension cannot move freely.
(The grub screws also must not be turned in too loosely either,
however, since the axis stub will otherwise wobble).
Depending on rim build, the rear wheel must be removed to set the ball-head screws (A) and (B) by first removing the
wheel nut (1) with a suitable wheel but wrench.
The wheel tappet nut (2) may remain in the rim when removing the rear wheel or detach from the wheel axle (3) when
the wheel is taken off. In this case ensure that the driving pin (4) does not fall out and gets lost.
When the wheel is later replaced, ensure that the tappet pin (4) is exactly in the centre of the wheel axle (3) and
inserted into the respective groove of the wheel tappet nut (2).
