• If the tires are falling over, please stay away as soon as possible. If you
try to hold the tire you will be hurt on the contrary.
Tire Changing & Repair Safety
S
top the truck on flat ground, shut off the engine and unload the cargo.
•
Use the hand brake to stop the
F
orklift and use blocks to support
the wheels. Put jack under the
F
orklift body.
•
Use the jack to jack up the
F
orklift body while the wheels still in touch
with ground. Loosen the tire locking nuts but do not completely
disassemble them.
•
Use the jack to jack up the forklift body again to make the tires leave the
ground and disassemble the tire locking nuts to take down the tire.
• After fixing the tire, install the tire in contrary sequence, then tighten
the tire locking nuts in opposite angles.
• After installation, check the inflation pressure of the tires. The standard
inflation pressure is 101psi.
Attention:
•
When disassembling the tires, only disassemble the hub nuts (item no.
5 in the following figure).
• The tire shall be inflated in safety cage. In the same time, when
installing the tire, all the tire locking nuts shall be well fastened.
