The analyzer mode is compatible with the settings of R&S ESU EMI Test Receiver
and R&S FSU Spectrum Analyzer. It facilitates programming of control software for
several instrument types.
Remote command:

The
OPEN START MENU
softkey opens the windows XP start menu and therefore
provides an easy access to standard windows functions if a mouse is connect.
IF SHIFT
The
IF SHIFT
softkey opens a submenu to activate or deactivate 1
st
IF shifting.
Input signals at a frequency of half the 1
st
IF (in the frequency range of 2270 MHz to
2350 MHz) reduce the dynamic range of the analyzer. This problem only occurs for
low RF attenuation values. It can be overcome by shifting the 1
st
IF.
IF SHIFT OFF
The
IF SHIFT OFF
softkey deactivates the 1
st
IF shifting.

IF SHIFT A
The
IF SHIFT A
softkey is appropriate for input signals in the frequency range of
2270 MHz to 2310 MHz.

IF SHIFT B
The
IF SHIFT B
softkey is appropriate for input signals in the frequency range of
2310 MHz to 2350 MHz.

AUTO
AUTO
automatically selects the suitable 1st IF shifting. The Signal Frequency has to
specified for that purpose in the Signal Frequency dialog.

SWE:IF:SHIF AUTO
SWE:IF:SHIF:FREQ <numeric value>
The 1
st
IF shifting is automatically done for ACP measurements if the center fre-
quency ( = signal frequency) is in the range of 2270 MHz to 2350 MHz. The
IF
SHIFT
setting is therefore ignored for ACP measurements.
