Step 3
Attach the device to the front posts of the rack.
Connecting Cables to the Device
Follow the safety guidelines described in the Safety Guide during this procedure, and use the
power and serial cables supplied with the accessories kit.
Caution
Do not connect a network cable to the MCU at this stage. The device is shipped with a static
IP address which may clash with an existing address on your network. To define a new MCU IP
address, see
“Setting the IP Address of the Device” on page 24 .
Procedure
Step 1
On the rear side of the device, connect the power cable to the AC power connector (see
Figure 4-7 on page 24 ).
