7.4 Parental Control

System Lock
To lock the receiver:
(1)
Select
System Lock
in the
Parental Control
menu
and set it to
ON
using the
Arrow(◄/►)
buttons.
(2)
If the receiver is locked, whenever you try to start the
STB, the Password screen will appear and you will
be asked to enter your Password.

Channel Manager Lock
To lock the Channel Manager:
(1)
Select
Channel Manager Lock
in the
Parental
Control
menu.
(2)
Set it to the
ON
using the
Arrow(◄/►)
buttons.

Installation Lock
To lock the Installation Menu:
(1)
Select
Installation Lock
in the
Parental Control
menu.
(2)
Set it to the
ON
mode by using the
Arrow(◄/►)
buttons.

Change Password
You can change your password from the factory default
value “
0000
” as follows:
(1)
Select
Change Password
in the
Parental Control
menu.
You will then be asked for a new password.
(2)
Enter your new password.
Once you enter a new password, the system will ask
you to re- enter for confirmation.
The language of menu & subtitle or soundtrack will
be changed to the selected language.
When you have entered a new password twice, the
password has been changed.
If you forget the password, contact the distributor to
recover it.
7.5 Viewing the System Information
Place the cursor on this sub menu and press the
OK
button.
It will show you the information of S/W & H/W version, provider, HDD
capacity, and timeshift duration.
