CONNECTION TO THE TV
Disconnect the STB from the mains power before connecting or disconnecting
the cables from TV. Failure to do so can damage the TV.
EARTHING
The LNB cable MUST BE EARTHED to the system earth for the satellite dish.
The buried cable of the system must comply with SABS 061.
LOCATION
Place the STB indoor in order not to expose to lightening, rain, or sunlight.
SERVICING
Do not attempt to servic this product by yourself, as opening or removing
covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazard.
Refer all servicing to qualified servic representatives
Warning:
Mains power remains on after the switch is turned off. Do not
remove the power cord with wet hands from the power supply. There is a risk of
electric shock.
Caution:
The hard disk has a high storage density, which enables long recording
durations and quick access to written data. However, it can easily be damaged by
shock, vibration or dust and should be kept away from magnets. To avoid losing
important data, observe the following precautions:
■ Do not use the STB in a place subject to extreme changes in temperature.
■ Do not apply a strong shock to the STB.
■ Do not place the STB in a location subject to mechanical vibrations or in
an unstable location.
Warning:
Do not turn off the power while recording. There is a risk of
electric shock and damages to the hard disk.
