5.2 Using the Timeshift Recording
You can temporarily record a Live TV program in built-in hard disk using
Timeshift Recording (TSR) function and then watch it. It is possible to
jump back up to 3 hours and starts to play from the previous watching
point. Functions are available such as PAUSE , REW (rewind) and
FWD (forward).
In the timeshift mode, recording and playback can be activated
simultaneously.
You can play back a recorded program from where you missed the
watching point.
To enable Timeshift, follow the steps below:
Press the MENU button → PVR Manager → Timeshift → ON/OFF
There are two ways to activate timeshift function:
1 . Press the PAUSE(II) button while the Timeshift function
is set to OFF .
From the watching point you press the PAUSE(II)
button, the Timeshift recording starts.
2. Play backward to the point where you missed. To play
backward to the previously watching point without using
the pause function, the Timeshift function must be set to
ON .
To go to the desired position, press REW(◄◄ ) or
FWD(►► ) button. Your position is displayed in the
information bar using the INFO( ) button. To remove the
information bar, press EXIT button.
