When pressing the PAUSE (
II
) button while watching, the
current program stops.
The following changes are made immediately:
■ Live TV picture is paused.
■ HDD operates for the Timeshift recording mode.
■ HDD Click Noise is audible.
■ If you press the
PLAY(►)
button 5 minutes after you
pressed the
PAUSE(II)
button. The channel resumes
playing.
■ TV playback starts in Timeshift mode.
■ Time delay: 5 minutes behind live TV.
To cancel the timeshift recording, press the STOP (
■
)
button.
■ Timeshift playback stops.
■ TV viewing jumps forward by 5 minutes and catches up
again the live event.
Using available functions in the Timeshift mode
■
Slow Motion:
Plays the program in slow motion mode.
For more information about using the slow motion
function, see page 37, “Using the Trick Mode.”
■
Fast Rewind(◄◄ ):
Used to search backward to
previous scenes in fast speed. Each time you press it,
the playback speed increases.
When the start point is met, it automatically resumes the
play from the start in normal speed.
■
Fast Forward(►► ):
Used to search forward to the
broadcasting point in fast speed. Each time you press
it, the speed increases (x2, x4, and x8). When the
live broadcasting point is met, it displays the current
broadcasting pictures in normal speed.
