VRB46 -Vented Chase –Removal of Ventilation Plates-

See Framing for Vented Chase

CAUTION:

Ventilation Plates must be removed before VRB46 is installed into a Vented Chase.

STEP 1:

Remove [Qty 2] Knockouts from Outer Heat Shield.

STEP 2:

Remove [Qty 2] Ventilation Plates.

Outer Heat Shield

Knockouts

Cut tabs

STEP 1: Remove [Qty 2] Knockouts from Outer Heat

Shield

Cut tabs to remove

STEP 2: Remove [Qty 2] Ventilation Plates.

Remove 1/4” drive screws and pry loose from

sealant.

TOP VIEW

After Outer Heat Shield Knockouts

and Ventilation Plates have been removed.
