Degrees Above Room Temperature*
When installing a TV above the fireplace, the chase
of the fireplace must be vented. This can be done
by either installing a grill on the front or sides of chase
(for a chase that bumps out into a room) or be open
at the top of the chase. (See installation manual for
further information).
*Degrees above room temperature are surface temperatures
of a TV mounted 1 ½” off the wall above the fireplace.

wall temperature

the fireplace is. Check with your TV manufacturer for normal
