13.3.8 Manually Rewinding the Hose Reel
In the event of power or equipment failure, rewind the hose reel manually, using the supplied reel
handle and by following these steps.
1. Ensure the hose reel brake is off.
2. Remove the manual rewind handle from its stowed location.
3. Connect the handle to the socket of the hose reel axle. Correctly engage the handle by
pushing the handle lock aside to allow it to slide into the socket.
4. Turn the handle to rewind the hose.
5. When complete, remove the handle and return it to its stowed location.

WARNING
Secure the hose reel correctly before moving the appliance to prevent the hose un-winding and
causing equipment damage and/or injury.
WARNING
Never operate the hose reel electric rewind when the manual rewind handle is installed. Injury to
personnel and/or damage to equipment may occur.
