13.2.2 Primer

There is a Waterous electric primer below the deck, between the chassis rails. The primer switch
is on the Pump Control Panel.

Steps for priming the pump and plumbing system are as follows:

1.

Close all discharge valves.

2.

Select the water source, either Tank to Pump or Suction Inlet.

3.

Press and hold the Primer Button until a continuous flow of water comes out of the
discharge pipe, indicating the pump is primed and ready to start.

The Primer Discharge Pipe is below the Pump Control Panel just under the tray on the near side.

13.2.3 Pump Control Panel

The Pump Control Panel contains electrics responsible for operating the pump set, CAFS and work
lights. It also houses warning lights and an alarm to indicate low water and low fuel. There are
external VHF and UHF speakers for broadcasting communications along with gauges for
monitoring pressure in the plumbing and CAFS systems.
