13.8 Lockers
The appliance has lockers above and below the deck. The above deck lockers; NSF, NSM, NSR,
OSF, OSM, OSR and the Tent Locker. The below deck lockers; NSFUT, NSRUT, OSFUT and the
OSRUT. Some lockers may be referred to by the specific role that it fills; i.e. the OSFUT Locker
can also be called the Chainsaw Locker.
13.8.1 Locker Doors
The appliance has lockers that store equipment and supplies necessary for the role of fire and
rescue. The above deck lockers have roller shutters, except for the Tent Locker. The Tent Locker
and all the lockers below deck height have Drop “T” handles.
To open the lockers with roller shutters:
1. Grab the bottom of the roller shutter and pull the shutter downwards.
2. While holding the roller shutter down, rotate the bottom edge outwards.
3. Push the roller shutter upwards.
4. To close the roller shutter, pull the shutter all the way down until it latches.
To open the locker doors with drop “T” handles:
1. Pull each drop “T” lock handle out from the locker door.
2. Rotate each handle to unlatch the door. If the handle does not rotate, use the supplied key
to unlock the latch.
3. Reverse the procedure to close the locker door.
