TIMTER™ Multi-mode Digital Telemetry Transmitter

Quasonix, Inc.

For example:

SY 5000 (sets status period to 5 seconds)

SY 5000 100 (sets status header output once every 100 status updates

The SY command is defined as follows.

Mode

– Current mode number (such as 0 = PCM/FM)

CF Rate

– Clock free estimated data rate. This rate is based on the external data input (TTL or RS-422) even if

internal data is presently in use (CS = 1).

Freq

– Tuned frequency

Tmp

– Current temperature

Crate

– Clock filter clock rate. This is the actual over the air bit rate, regardless of the selected data source, and

including any increases due to encoding (LDPC or convolutional). IN clock free automatic mode, it may differ from
CF Rate because it will track the bit sync rate (exact, if locked) rather than the clock free estimated rate
(approximate).

This example display shows selected parameters for one channel.
