Field

Description

Serial Number

The serial number given is the serial number of the

module or the drive, typically beginning with

“MX”, indicating the site of manufacture. If the

drive serial number is valid, it is reported;

otherwise, the module serial number is reported.

The serial number appears on the bar code label.

The drive returns the serial number in ASCII

format.
