SEND DIAGNOSTIC Command (1Dh)

The

SEND DIAGNOSTIC

command directs the DLT-S4 tape drive to

perform its self-diagnostic tests. Two levels of drive-resident diagnostic

tests are available: the Level 1 Electronics Test and the Level 2 Write /

Read Functionality Test.
