IPv6 addressing
mode
Select from the following:
• Stateful: The stateful DHCPv6 or managed mode enables you to manually assign
a unique IPv6 address to each client.
• Stateless: The stateless DHCPv6 mode enables users to manually enter
additional IPv6 information including the lease time, but automatically assigns
a unique IPv6 address to each client.
• SLAAC+RDNSS: Stateless Address Auto-Configuration (SLAAC) along with
Recursive DNS Server (RDNSS) enables users to manually assign an IP address
based on the IPv6 prefix and uses recursive queries to resolve the domain name.
• Disabled: Disables IPv6 client addressing.
10. Click Apply.
QuRouter adds the bridge connection.
Managing DHCP IP Address Reservations
To ensure that a network interface receives the same IP address every time your router is rebooted, you can
reserve the IP address provided by the DHCP server.
1. Log in to QuRouter.
2. Go to Network > DHCP Table .
3. Select one or more interfaces.
4. Click Reserve.
Tip
To unreserve DHCP IP addresses for the selected interfaces, click Unreserve.
QuRouter reserves DHCP IP addresses for the selected interfaces.
Static Route
You can create and manage static routes in the Static Route section of network settings. Under normal
circumstances, QuRouter automatically obtains routing information after it has been configured for internet
access. Static routes are only required in special circumstances, such as having multiple IP subnets located
on your network.
You can view the IPv4 and IPv6 routing information in the following pages:
• IPv4 routing information: Network > Routing > IPv4 / Routing Table
• IPv6 routing information: Network > Routing > IPv6 / Routing Table
Routing tables provide status information regarding configured route entries from the following sources:
• Directly connected networks
• Dynamic routing protocols
• Statically configured routes
