EDDYSENSOR Operating Manual

The EDDYSENSOR is a simple eddycurrent detection

device which senses the presence of a defect to

activate subsequent activities, e.g. shutting off the

cooling water in a welding line with annealing. The

minimum configuration consists of two units in a table-

top housing. A third unit is optional.

The minimum configuration is made up of the Front

End Unit in the left-hand position and the Power Unit in

the right-hand position. For safety reasons, the back

module of the Power Unit is supplied immovably as-

sembled in the table-top housing, LAB 1004. The op-

tional unit is the Delay Unit in the middle position. The

modules and their positions are shown in the diagram

above.
