Fuses for mains and

operating voltages

The Power Unit generates the supply voltages.

Function

The Power Unit is switched on by the ON/OFF switch on the front panel. The

supply voltages of +15, – 15 and +5 volts are generated by a transformer

on the input mains supply of 115V/230V. Each of the voltage supplies has

its own fuse on the lower printed circuit board of the front module as shown

in the diagram below.

Front Module

If one of the LEDs on the front panel does not light up (F2, F3 or F4) or the

equipment does not function (F1 or F5), check the fuses. (Always follow the

ESD instructions are presented at the beginning of this handbook when

changing fuses.)
