Locating and changing fuses
Fuses
PCB of the back module
The fuses for the outputs of the delay unit are located on the back module
DI1050BA.
Delay Unit
In carrying out any work on the equipment, please observe the ESD
instructions given on the separate sheet at the beginning of this handbook.
To replace a fuse, switch off the power and then:
a)
Remove the back module by loosening the four retaining screws.
b)
Pull the module carefully out of the housing.
c)
Remove the blown fuse(s).
d)
Insert the new fuse(s).
e)
Slide the back module into its slot in the housing and seat it firmly.
f)
Tighten up the four retaining screws again.
Replacing the fuses
There are four fuse holders (F1 for OUT1, F2 for OUT2, F3 for OUT3, F4 is
not used) available. The first three must contain 630 mA fast fuses.
If the peripheral on a specific output does not function, check the corre-
sponding fuse.

There are four fuse holders (F1 for OUT1, F2 for OUT2, F3 for OUT3, F4 for
OUT4) available. They must contain 1.25 A slow fuses.
If the peripheral on a specific output does not function, check the corre-
sponding fuse.
