Scope of Delivery

The delivery consists of:

●

Forum 523/524 communications system in its basic configuration (with
basic module)

●

1 power supply unit with mains power cable

●

Connection cable for the ISDN S

0

port

●

One set of mounting screws and dowels

●

1 CD containing complete documentation and software

Safety Precautions

The CE symbol on the product confirms that it conforms with the technical
guidelines on user safety and electromagnetic compatibility at the time of its
approval.

Intended Usage

The Forum 523/524 communications system is designed to be connected to
ISDN basic rate access (“multi-terminal access or “system access) using the
Euro-ISDN protocol (DSS1). The Euro-ISDN basic rate access must be
equipped with the Network Termination Basic Access (NTBA) of your network
operator.

The Forum 523/524 is not designed to be used with other telecommunica-
tions access. Incorrect usage can lead to malfunction or damage to the
Forum 523/524 and to the network.

Installation

The Forum 523/524 may only be installed inside buildings and may only be
operated when mounted on a wall.

Do not install the Forum 523/524 during a thunderstorm. Do not connect and
disconnect lines during a thunderstorm.
