5.7 Module Event Log

The module logs various diagnostic records to an internal event log. These logs are

stored in non-volatile memory and can be displayed using the PLX50 Configuration

Utility or via the web interface.
To view them in the PLX50 Configuration Utility, select the Event Viewer option in the

Project Explorer tree.

Figure 5.27 - Selecting the module Event Log

The Event Log window will open and automatically read all the events from the

module. The log entries are sorted so as to have the latest record at the top. Custom

sorting is achieved by double-clicking on the column headings.

The log can also be stored to a file for future analysis, by selecting the Save button in

the tool menu. To view previously saved files, use the Event Log Viewer option

under the tools menu.
