USAGE
TO RECEIVE A CALL:
When the handset is ringing, press any key on the handset and start conversa-
tion.
PREVIEW DIALING:
1. Enter the phone number (max. of 20 digits) during standby.
Use button to edit any wrong entry.
2. If the phone number is correct, press the telephonebutton to dial out that
number. The display will show and the In Use LED at the base station will
turn on.
After the call is made, the call timer will start to count.
3. Press the telephonebutton to terminate the call or put the handset to the base
station or charger-pod directly. The icon on the display and the In Use LED
at the base station will turn off.
MANUAL DIALING:
1. If the phone number is more than 20 digits, press the telephonebutton and
then enter the phone number to make the call.
10 LAST DIALED NUMBER MEMORIES:
1. Press
∆
or
∇
button to review the dial-out memory during standby.
The last dial-out phone number will be placed in the first memory. If the
phonenumber matches one in the Phone Book, the corresponding name will
be displayed. There are 10 memories in the dialed list. The memory location
will be shown on the lower left corner of the display.
2. Press button to dial out the number shown.
3. Once the number is shown, press and hold button will delete that number.
RECALL:
Recall can be used if you subscribe to an optional "Call Waiting" service from
your local telephone company. If another party calls while you are having a con-
versation and you hear the special "Call Waiting" tone, press
R
button to hold the
first call and the second call can be answered.
You may then press
R
button again to hold the second call and resume your
conversation with the first caller.
