PRIORITIZED RING SETTING:
If more than one handset are registered to a base, the ring sequence can be
programmed:
1. Press button to enter menu mode during standby.
2. Press
∆/∇
button to select [SYSTEM].
3. Press OK button to confirm.
4. Press
∆/∇
button to select [RING SEQ].
5. Press OK button to confirm, the display will show [HANDSET:
∗
]
6. Press the desired numeric key to select a particular handset to ring first (press
∗
for no ring priority).
7. Press OK button to confirm and exit.
Note:
If the selected handset number is not yet registered, there will be an error tone.
The selected handset will ring first, if the user does not answer the call in 2 rings,
other handset(s) will start to ring.
INTERCOM:
If there are two or more handsets registered to a base, a toll-free intercom con-
versation is possible within the base operation range.
1. Press button on one of the handsets during standby
The Line Icon will turn on and the display will show [CALL WHAT?]
2. Press the handset number which you want to call.
For instance, handset 1 calls handset 2 then the display on handset 1 will
show [CALL 2 ] while the display on handset 2 will show [CALL FROM 1]
3. Handset 2 will ring.
4. Press button to answer the call.
Both handsets now enter the Intercom mode.
Press button on either handset to exit the intercom mode.
CALL TRANSFER:
When a handset is making a call, it can transfer the call to other handset(s) wit-
hin the base operation range.
1. During the telephone conversation, press the button, the line will be put on
hold.
2. Enter the handset number, the called handset will ring.
3. On the called handset, the user must press the xx button to answer the call.
4. When the call is answered, you may press the button to transfer the call to
the other handset.
After instruction 2, you may directly press the button to transfer the call wit-
hout inquiry. If the called handset does not answer the call within 30 seconds,
the call will be transfered back to your handset.
