SETTINGS
CHANGE THE BASE PIN:
Base PIN (Personal Identification Number or Personal Security Code) is a four-
digit code to protect the base from illegal registration and access.
The factory default PIN-code is 0000.
1. Press button to enter menu mode during standby.
2. Press
∆/∇
button to select [SYSTEM].
3. Press OK button to confirm and the display will show [CHANGE PIN].
4. Press OK button to confirm and the display will show [BS PIN ----].
5. Enter the old PIN by pressing the corresponding keys.
If the old PIN is correct, the display will show [NEW ----].
6. Enter the four-digit new PIN, then the display will show [CONFIRM ----].
Re-enter the same new PIN for confirmation.
7. Press OK button to exit.
Remarks:
* The PIN-code must be a 4-digit code.
* Refer to chapter
PINCODE - RESET on page 26 in case you forgot your PIN-
code.
* The PIN-code is the same for all registered handsets.
RINGER MELODY AND VOLUME SETTING:
1. Press button to enter the menu mode during standby.
2. Press
∆/∇
button to select [ MELODY].
3. Press OK button to confirm and the display will show [MEL 1]
The handset will emit the Melody1 tone.
Press
∆/∇
button to select different melodies. There are three types of
melody: MEL1, MEL2 and MEL3.
Press OK button to confirm the selection.
4. If the melody is selected , the display will show [MEL x: HIGH].
5. Press
∆/∇
button to select different volume: HIGH, LOW or OFF.
6. Press OK button to confirm the selection and exit.
If OFF is selected, the Ringer Off Icon will turn on.
LANGUAGE SETTING:
1. Press to enter the menu mode during standby.
2. Press
∆/∇
to select [LANGUAGE ] (TAAL).
3. Press OK button to confirm and the display will show [DUTCH].
4. Press
∆/∇
to select the desired language.
5. Press OK button to confirm the selection and exit.
