CONFERENCE CALL:
Any handset can make a conference call with the outside party and another
handset within the base operation range.
1. During the telephone conversation, press the button, the line will be put on
hold.
2. Enter the handset number, the called handset will ring.
3. On the called handset, the user must press the button to answer the call.
4. When the call is answered, press the # button to start the conference call
(press the button in case the called party does not answer)
At the end of the call, both handsets must press the button.
BASE SELECTION:
Each handset can be registered to four bases. If the handset is registered to
more than one base, one can choose the specific base manually or if the Auto
mode is selected, the handset will automatically locate to the nearest registered
base.
1. Press button to enter menu mode during standby.
2. Press
∆/∇
button to select [SELECT BASE].
3. Press OK button to confirm, the display will show [AUTO 1 2 3 4] (if only 2
bases are registered, the display will show [AUTO 1 2 _ _], the current
selection is in steady form while other(s) is/are flashing).
4. Press the desired numeric key to select a particular base or press button -0-
to select AUTO .
5. Press OK button to confirm and exit.
DE-REGISTRATION:
In standby mode, you may de-register the handset(s) from the base:
1. Press button to enter menu mode during standby.
2. Press
∆/∇
button to select [SYSTEM].
3. Press OK button to confirm.
4. Press
∆/∇
button to select [DE-REGISTER].
5. Press OK button to confirm, the display will show [BS PIN ----].
6. Enter the base PIN (factory setting: 0000). If the base PIN is correct, the
registered handset number(s) will be displayed, e.g. handset1 and handset2
are registered, the display will show [HS:12____ ]
7. Press the handset number to deregister that handset.
The de-registered handset will display [UNREGISTER].
SYSTEM FAILURE
In case of a possible system failure, please remove the battery-pack from the
handset(s) and disconnect the power adapter and telephone connectioncord
from the corresponding wall outlets. Wait several minutes and reconnect all. If
this does not help, than please consult your dealer.
