PHONE BOOK
There are 20 memories for the PHONE BOOK. You may store a name (with 10
characters) and a phone number (with 20 digits) into each memory.
Three basic operations are: ADD ENTRY, EDIT/DELETE, SEARCH.
ADD ENTRY:
1. Press button to enter menu mode during standby.
2. Press
∆/∇
button to select [PHONEBOOK].
3. Press OK button to confirm the selection and the display will show [SEARCH].
4. Press
∆
/
∇
button to select [ADD ENTRY].
5. Press OK button to confirm the selection and the display will show [NAME?].
6. Press OK button to confirm the selection and the display will show [_ ].
7. Enter the name (max. 10 characters) and press OK button.
8. Enter the phone number (max. 20 digits ) and press OK button.
9. Repeat from step 5 for more entries or press to exit this mode.
notes:
Press # button and keep it pressed until the display shows [P] to insert a dial-
pause.
The counter on bottom left will show the memory location (e.g. 01/20). If more
than 20 entries are added, the display will show [MEM FULL]
The order of memory is name first in alphabetical order then followed by number
(If no name is stored with that number) in ascending order.
EDIT:
To change name / number stored in Phone book:
1. Press button to enter menu mode during standby.
2. Press
∆/∇
button to select [PHONEBOOK].
3. Press OK button to confirm the selection and the display will show [SEARCH].
4. Press
∆
/
∇
button to select [EDIT].
5. Press OK button to confirm the selection.
6. Press
∆
/
∇
button to select the desired entry and press OK button
7. Press button to delete the name and enter the new name, press OK button
8. Press button to delete the number, enter the new number and press OK
9. Repeat from step 5 for more corrections or press to exit this mode.
DELETE:
1. Follow the above section (EDIT) step1 to step 3 to select the memory to be
deleted.
2. Press button and the display will show [DELETE?]
3. Press OK button to delete the memory.
