TX500 series technical manual

The TX500 HD Mixer

13.1 Introduction

The Masterpiece HD mixer is the latest addition to the Pro-Bel TX500 Master Control

system, and further strengthens and enhances the product range. It connects into the

system via a standard Pro-Bel RS-485 bus. With its advanced modular approach the

TX500 system can accommodate future upgrades. The Pro-Bel Masterpiece HD Mixer is a

true dual channel unit with full off-air Keyer previewing. The unit is supplied with two

integrated Keyers in the Program (PGM) and Preview (PVW) channels. The configuration is

defined when installed and supports all the main HD formats. The mixer is supplied with dual

power supplies.
