4. Test Sequence downloads
In this mode, the HOST sends up to four User Test Sequences to the DSA-1 for storage
in non-volatile memory. Each Sequence is 991 bytes long, i.e. shorter Sequences must
be zero-padded by the downloader. Any or all of the four possible Sequence blocks
may be updated during the download exchange.
Note that Test Sequence download mode can only be instated in the DSA-1 if it is in
Host Mode (sub-menu 9.5.).
The transfer type set in the wakeup exchange is 0x01. After wakeup is established, the
following transaction occurs:
HOST
DSA-1
STX
(block no - 1 to 4)
(data 000)
..
(data 990)
(checksum, all data not including block no)
ACK if received OK, else NAK
[HOST repeats block if NAK received, up to maximum retries]
[Repeat for next block, until all required blocks have been transferred]
STX
0x00 [end of block]
0x00 [dummy checksum]
[DSA-1 now exits mode]
