6.9. System Setup (menu 9.)
The System Setup menu deals with a variety of miscellaneous 'housekeeping' functions
of the DSA-1. These include various operational mode settings, storage and
initialisation of default settings, soft calibration of sampling-frequency measurements,
battery charging and host PC uploading/downloading. There are six different sub-
menus, shown below, which can be selected using the [<] and [>] keys.

Settings (menu 9.1.)
The following sections describe the system settings options. There are ten different
parameters which can be adjusted, and these are displayed using the [<] and [>] keys.
When the desired parameter is displayed, it is adjusted by using the [EDIT/CLEAR] key
to cycle through the available options. Press [EXIT] to return to the System Setup
level.
Note that certain parameters which were adjustable in the Settings menu (4.1.) in
version 1.0 of the DSA-1 firmware, such as the jitter corner-frequency and the timecode
display mode, are now displayed and adjusted directly within the measurement sub-
menus to which they apply.
For each setting, the options can be cycled with the <EDIT/CLEAR> key. To return to
the System Setup level of the menu system, press <EXIT>.
