7.2. Results Log Uploader/Editor software

7.2.1.

Introduction

This application is designed to allow the operator to upload the DSA-1 Results Log (as
described in section 6.8) to a host PC. It is then possible to print the Log or import it
into documents or reports.

The Results Log Uploader/Editor is an MS-Windows application which requires MS-
Windows version 3.1 or higher.

7.2.2.

Using the Results Log Uploader/Editor

7.2.2.1.

Starting the program

The DSA-1 Results Log Uploader/Editor is started by double-clicking the appropriate
icon in the 'DSA-1 Host Support' program group.

A large editor window appears which is similar to most basic MS-Windows text editors,
such as Notepad. The FILE menu contains an additional Upload option which allows
the Results Log to be loaded serially into the editor from the DSA-1. Familiar menu
options then allow editing, printing, copying etc. in the usual way.

The following sections document the functions of the pull-down menus.
