Installing the Hardware

Secure the front of each rail to the rack using the screws 
provided.

Secure the back of each rail to the rack using the screws 
provided.

Secure the screws that attach the rear rail extenders to the 
front part of the rails.

If you are installing more than one BladeFrame BF200 in your 
rack, leave a 1U gap between each chassis (see Figure 3.7.) This 
allows for the subsequent installation of redundant power 
supplies For more detail on installing redundant power supplies, 
see “

Providing Redundant Input Power

” on page 4-10.

Note:  

The redundant power option is not available with systems 

sold outside of North America.

5.

Mount the server (see 

Installing the Chassis

).

6.

Route the cables as described in the original manual of the Rack.
