Release 5.0

Component
Weights and
Dimensions

A complete BladeFrame BF200 system consists of a chassis, two
cBlades, and up to six pBlades (or pBlade fillers). The BladeFrame
BF200 has two chassis options based on power requirements. The
20-amp and 30-amp versions differ slightly in their physical
dimensions and power supplies, but support the same number of
blades. The 30-amp option supports up to six high-end, 4-way
Processing Blades with processor speeds of 2.8 GHz or greater.
This high-end pBlade configuration would exceed the 20-amp
chassis’s power supply so that PAN Manager software would
prevent the power up of one of the pBlades.

Figure 3.1 shows the positions of these blades when they are
installed in the chassis.

Figure 3.1 BladeFrame BF200 Blade Slots

Table 3.2

lists the weights and dimensions of the BladeFrame

BF200 components, and Figure 3.2 shows the dimensions of a
BladeFrame BF200.
