Note: If you plan to install more than one BladeFrame BF200
in the rack, locate the first set of side rails in the lowest position
in the rack to ensure the stability of the rack.
1. To attach the side rails to the 19-inch rack, do the following:
The mounting holes in an EIA standard rack are in 1U groups
(groups of three holes, two holes being 5/8 inch apart, and then
a 1/2 inch gap to the next group of holes, and so on). See
Figure
3.7 .

a. Align the side rail such that the bottom of the rail aligns with
the center of the 1/2 inch gap between holes, and with the
rail extender located at the rear of the rack. (See
Figure 3.8
and Figure 3.9 .)
