8.4.2 Fuel draining system

Porsche Motorsport offers a gas-tight fuel draining and filling system for the FT3 tank.

It consists of two quick-action couplings which are mounted on the tank plate and of

corresponding in-tank tubes.

Fuel filling is also possible with the fuel draining system using a corresponding system

(e.g. BREDA system). A closed system is realized by means of the gas-tight connecting

couplings. Fuel vapors therefore do not enter the atmosphere and surroundings.
