Repairing the body 

Because of its hybrid design, it is absolutely essential to check the body in case of an 

accident. The body of the 911 GT3 Cup (991 II) is an aluminum steel hybrid 

construction. This design allows extensive repair work within a defined amount of 
time. For this purpose, a special tool kit, suitable body spare parts as well as tools 

and consumables are available. 

 

Risk of damage to the bodyshell structure as a result 

of reshaping during accident repairs. 

•

 

Reshaping can cause irreparable damage to the 
joints in the bodyshell structure. 

•

 

Reshaping can change the crash properties of 
the bodyshell structure.
