Soaking
The “Soaking” program emulates the cooking process of a Russian stove. The dish is cooked for a very long period
of time along with slow stewing at a continuously increasing temperature, which allows you to preserve the healthy
properties of the food while providing a fuller taste.
- Turn on the appliance. The display illumination will light up.
- Place all desired contents into the bowl according to the recipe. Follow the instructions in the “Appliance operation”
section.
- It is best to keep the lid closed while cooking with this program. If the lid is not in proper position, it might not turn
out as well.
- Select the “Soaking” program from the general program list by pressing the “МЕНЮ / MENU” or the “+ and -” touch
buttons. The “Soaking” display indication will start blinking.
- The ДАВЛЕНИЕ / PRESSURE mode is not available in this program.
- The default cooking time for this program is 5 hours. Set the cooking time according to the dish’s recipe: press the
“ВРЕМЯ / ТЕМПЕРАТУРА / TIME / TEMPERATURE” touch button, then change time setting in 10 minute increments by
pressing the “+ and -” buttons. The time may vary in the 1 to 8 hours range.
- The cooking temperature in this mode may not be adjusted. The temperature will be gradually increased and equal to
45, 65, 85, and 95°С. You can check the cooking temperature in this mode by pressing the “ВРЕМЯ / ТЕМПЕРАТУРА /
TIME / TEMPERATURE” touch button again.
- The time settings may be changed during cooking. Change the parameters by pressing the “+ and -” touch buttons.
- Please bear in mind that the total cooking time, i.e. the time elapsed plus the new time setting, must not exceed the
maximum operation time determined for the program selected.
- Press the “СТАРТ / ОТМЕНА / START / CANCEL” touch button to start the program, the program will give off a sound
signal, and the multicooker will begin operating according to the program selected. The “Soaking” sign on the display
and the “СТАРТ / ОТМЕНА / START / CANCEL” touch button indicator will remain on. The countdown timer for the
cooking time will start after the program begins.
- After the program is complete, the appliance will switch to the ПОДОГРЕВ / KEEP WARM mode. To disable automatic
switching to the ПОДОГРЕВ / KEEP WARM mode, press the “ДАВЛЕНИЕ / ОТМЕНА ПОДОГРЕВА / PRESSURE /
CANCEL KEEP WARM” touch button, a signal will sound, and the “ПОДОГРЕВ / KEEP WARM” indicator on the display
