NOTE
If demodulator startup error (section 6) has occurred during
automatic determination of a channel plan or automatic setting of
frequency point parameters, search for the DVB-T/H channels setting
parameters will not be performed.
To edit the frequency point name, scroll the marker to the
Name
position and press
«

key. The text edit screen is represented in figure 4.16. The mode name will be
indicated in the top line (index 1). The next line is the description of the edited text. The
framed line (index 2) is the edited text. The bottom line (index 3) shows the characters that
you can enter:
a)
«F1»
– upper-case letters;
b)
«F2»
– lower-case letters;
c)
«F3»
– numbers;
d)
«F4»
– symbols.

To start editing, scroll the cursor to the required point by

keys, select the
required characters by the functional keys and press the alphanumeric key until the
desired character of the key group appears on the screen. The character will appear at
once or after a short pause. The
«C»
key has a 'backspace' function, the
«1»
(in letter
entering mode) is the 'space'. To enter a symbol, open the table of symbols by
«F4»
key
and press any numeric key until the required symbol arrears in cursor position. Press
«MENU/ENTER»
to exit the text editing tool.
After you have finished to edit the text, you can save the changes made to the
frequency point by pressing
«F2»
(
Save
), or abort the mode without saving changes
pressing
«F1»
(
Exit
). If the frequency of a frequency point was changed, the point may
appear in the channel plan ranged by frequency in a different position (with different
number).
To exit the channel plan editing mode and save the changes, press
«F2»
. If you press
«MENU/ENTER»
you will exit the mode after confirmation of saving the changes, if any.
To delete the selected frequency point, press
«F3»
key. To create a new frequency
point, press
«F4»
. The new point will appear in the list. You can edit this point as required.
When you edit a frequency point do not let more than one frequency point be in one TV
channel band. If you try to save one of such frequency points, you will see
Channel not
free
message on the screen. To correct this error, select free channel for this frequency
point and repeat saving or exit the editing mode without saving.
If you selected an empty channel plan, when you open edit mode the channel with only
one frequency point will appear on the screen, which you can edit and save into the
memory. You should consider that when you save changes to a channel plan, the channel
data logger page with the corresponding channel number will be deleted. Before saving,
your Analyzer will check the memory resources. If the memory is not enough to perform
saving
Not enough memory
message will appear. To save the required data you will
need to delete some of the unnecessary pages.
