Connecting a Monitor
After you install the Md2/PCI board in your computer, connect
one or two monitors to the board with the cable provided.
To connect a monitor to the board
1. Attach the D-shell connector to the Md2/PCI board,
securing the connection with the screws on the connector.
2. Attach each output cable to the appropriate BNC terminal
on your monitor. Refer to your monitor documentation for
more information.
The cable labeling in the preceding illustration applies to the
DOME Md2/PCI cable. If you are using a cable from another
source, the cable labeling may differ.
3. Repeat step 2 for each monitor you are connecting to the
Md2/PCI board.
With some monitors you can run a normal VGA cable from
the Md2/PCI board to the monitor port.
