Development unit function PikoLoad

Without an inserted FMS-Test card the Development unit is in PikoLoad mode.

The behaviour is equal to the Standard unit PikoLoad, however some of the LED displays
are not used: e.g.

•

Running Authentication

•

Error Authentication

•

Tachograph not locked to the company card

•

Some others.

The Development unit does not need any digital tachograph or any company card for ist
operation. Therefore some sequences are missing in operation:

Authentication of an inserted company card for the download of the mass
memory

Download of the specific data from the tachograph

etc.

For a better overview about the differences we recommend to read the manuals
of the Standard unit first.

The data stored in the Development unit are signed with test keys and are equal to the
data which can be downloaded from the front connector of the tachograph.

The output of the data is possible by:

USB-Stick, if plugged in

CAN 2 interface

Serial interface (on request)

Please note that the data from the serial interface have to be requested (see description).

The data on the CAN 2 interface are broadcasted cyclic.
