Development unit function Remote Dowload Test
(RDL-Test)
2.7.1
Start of the Remote Download test by a USB-Stick (special file)
Note: If you have a workshop card (or test card) you can start the test
as well with this workshop card (see user manual for PikoTest)
Please remove all cards from the PikoTest and the tachograph before starting a
Remote Download Test.
Be sure that the PikoTest is connected to power and the ignition is on.
Please do not switch off ignition during the test run to avoid errors.
Plug in the USB-Stick containing the following special file:
File name: RemDwlTest.PSS
Content of the file: ACTION:RemDwlTest<CR><LF>

Attention:

The file has to be stored in the main directory of the USB-Stick
•
After the Remote Download test run the file will be deleted from the USB-
Stick.
The test starts automatically (check LED display) after plugging in the USB-Stick
containing the special file (you do not need a company card at the developing
unit).
After the test run a report (see item 2.7.2) is saved on the USB-Stick. The end of
the test run is indicated by the LED display. Remove the USB-Stick now.
