Enable
Adaptive brightness
to optimize the brightness level for
available light.
Set up the sleep mode

Tap the
menu key
on the home screen.

Settings > Display > Sleep

SET UP LANGUAGE
You can change the default language and select a different one
and change it back later.

Settings > Language & input > Language.

Select a language.
PROTECTE PHONE
SET UP PIN CODE
You can protect your phone with a PIN code to prevent a
non-infringing use.
Change your SIM PIN
1.
Tap the
menu key
on the homescreen.
2.
Select
Settings
>
Security>SIM/RUIM card lock
.
3.
Tap on
Lock SIM card
to enter SIM PIN
.
4.
Tap on
Change SIM PIN
to enter old SIM PIN.
5.
Tap
OK
to enter
New SIM PIN
twice to confirm.
NOTICE:
Before changing your SIM PIN, make sure
that you have selected to
Lock SIM
card
with
correct PIN.
LOCK YOUR SCREEN
Protect personal data and information by creating a screen lock
pattern, to prevent others use your phone.
Enable screen lock
Press the power button to lock screen
Set up a screen lock with PIN or password

Tap the

on the home screen.

When prompted, enter a PIN code or password and confirm

Enter the password again and confirm with

Select an option to show the notifications when your device is
locked, tap

Set up and use a lock screen pattern
You can set up a lock pattern in order to improve the security of
your phone. If you set up a pattern you will be asked to enter this
lock screen pattern to unlock your screen.
1.
Tap the
menu key
on the home screen.
2.
Select S
ettings
>
Security > Screen lock.
3.
Select
Pattern
.
4.
Draw an unlock pattern. Connect points either vertically,
horizontally or diagonally to adjust your screen lock pattern.
NOTICE:
You must connect the dots
pulling together. The pattern is
finished once you release the points.
5.
Tap
Continue
to enter the pattern again
6.
Tap
Confirm
.
7.
Select an option to show the notifications when your device
is locked, tap
Done
.
NOTICE:
You can reset the use of the screen lock pattern
any time if you do not want to continue using.
If entered a wrong screen lock pattern five times in a
row, you have to wait 30 seconds before you can enter
it again.
MANAGE MEMORY
To see the available device memory
1.
Tap the
menu key
on the homescreen.
2.
Select
Settings
>
Storage
. You will see the Internal storage
including Total space
as well as SD card space.
MANAGE AND CLEAR INSTALLED APPS
To enhance your space, you can delete apps or applications that
you do not use on your device.
