To open the phone setting

tap on the
Home screen > Menu key
and select the
Settings.
MANAGE THE BASE SETTINGS
Customize various device settings to satisfy your needs. For
example, change the language, add a ringtone, or adjust the
brightness of the screen.
ADJUST DATE AND TIME
Adjust the date and time either manually or use network
provided information.
Set up date & time manually
1.
Tap the
menu key
on the home screen.
2.
Select
Settings > System > Date & time.
3.
Deactivate the
Automatic date & time
if activated.
4.
Tap on
Set date
or
Set time
.
5.
Set the date, the hour and minute.
6.
Confirm with
OK
.
Set up time zone
1.
Tap the
menu key
on the home screen.
2.
Select
Settings > System > Date & time
.
3.
Deactivate the
Automatic time zone
if activated.
4.
Tap on
Select time zone
.
5.
Select a time zone.
CALL SETTINGS
Set up ringtone for incoming calls
1.
Tap the
menu key
on the home screen.
2.
Select
Settings > Sound & notification > Phone ringtone.
3.
Select SIM Card you want to set the ringtone.
4.
Tap on phone ringtone to set the ringtone.
5.
Confirm with
OK
.
NOTICE:
You can select different ringtones for the
two SIM cards in order to distinguish.
Set up ringtone for incoming notifications / messages
1.
Tap the

on the home screen.

Set up system tones
1.
Tap the
menu key
on the home screen.
2.

Settings > Sound & notification > Other sounds.

Activate to set
Dial pad tones

Screen locking sounds
/Touch sounds / Vibrate on touch

NOTICE:
To switch off tone vibration completely (also
during text input), you have to switch off
Vibrate on key
tap on
Language & input > Android Keyboard (AOSP) >
Preferences > Vibrate on keypress
and deactivate it.
SET UP VOLUME
When playing music or video, press the VOLUME button (up or
down) on the right panel to adjust the volume. A bar, which
displays the volume will appear on the screen.
Change the media volume in the system settings as well:
1.
Tap the
menu key
on the home screen.
2.
Select
Settings > Sound & notification
.
3.
Move the volume slider to the left or right for volume up or
down.
Set up vibration
1.
Tap the
menu key
on the home screen.
2.
Select
Settings > Sound & notification
.
3.
Activate
Also vibrate for calls
. The phone vibrates now for
incoming calls or when you tap on the touch pad.
USE THE DISPLAY
Adjust the brightness of the display manually
1.
Tap the
menu key
on the home screen.
2.
Select
Settings > Display > Brightness level.
3.
To decrease the brightness, drag the slider to the left and to
increase the brightness, drag it to the right.
The controller disappears after a few seconds by itself.

To adjust the brightness automatically, tap
on
Settings
>
Display
>
Adaptive brightness
