5.7 Installing HF generator QMH 40x

You can find information on how to install HF generator QMH 40x in the corresponding operating in-
structions for QMH 40x.

5.8 Installing analyzer QMA 4x0

You can find information on how to install and mount analyzer QMA 4x0 in the corresponding operating 
instructions for QMA 4x0.

5.9 Connecting IO 700

Pfeiffer Vacuum installs options ex factory if you have ordered them with the overall system. Subse-
quent installation is possible.

1 Exposed shielding braid

Establishing IO 700 wiring

► Use shielded cables (EMC).
► Uncover the cable shielding to the extent that there is a proper electrical connection to the chassis 

potential of the back panel when closing and tightening the EMC cable gland.

► Establish the wiring directly to the spring-loaded terminals of the I/O modules.

– Detailed information can be found on the wiring diagram of the IO 700.

► Route 3 cables (Ø5 to 9 mm) and 3 cables (Ø9 to 13 mm) through the cable glands and into the 

unit.

► Secure the cables and wires inside IO 700 to prevent the connections from being ripped off when 

installing or removing IO 700, e.g. using cable ties.

5.10 Connecting IO 720

Pfeiffer Vacuum installs options ex factory if you have ordered them with the overall system. Subse-
quent installation is possible.
You can find information on connection options and on the wiring of IO 720 in the corresponding operat-
ing instructions for IO 720.
