3 • Initial configuration of the Model 6081RC

8. Configure the settings for Function, arrow and ctrl keys act as to Terminal keys as shown in

figure 15

IP address modification

At turn on, boot up information will display on your Hyperterminal connection window, followed by a login
request window.

1. At the prompt type

setup

, then press <enter> to access the 6081RC setup menu.

To perform initial system configuration, login using 'setup'.

6081 login: setup

6081 Configuration Menu:

N - Configure network interfaces.
D - Restore configuration to factory defaults.
W - Save configuration to non-volatile storage.
L - Logout

R - Reboot
